Preventive care

Throughout your life, you deserve consistent medical care. An annual physical exam gives you a chance to get to know our clinic and gives your provider an opportunity to address small concerns before they become larger problems. Your provider can also help you identify lifestyle changes that could lead to better health. Annual checkups often include:

• Checks of height and weight.
• Monitoring of heart and lung function.
• Visual examinations of eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
• Testing of reflexes.
• Visual examination of skin.
• Time to address any concerns.

Sick-patient care

If you are sick or injured, you can get a same-day or next-day appointment at Novant Health Rural Hall Family Medicine. And, our on-site lab makes it easier for your provider to deliver a prompt and accurate diagnosis so any needed treatment can begin without delay.

Established patients can also take advantage of our morning sick clinic. From 7 a.m. until 8 a.m., patients who have already seen a provider in our clinic can receive care for acute illnesses including sore throats, congestion and upset stomachs. No appointment is necessary.
